5-8 Years Work Mode: Full-time, Work from Office (On-site) Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Backend (Java) Developer with robust expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Apache Kafka, MySQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services, managing integrations with external systems, improving existing business logic, and ensuring high performance and reliability across applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Take ownership of 2–3 assigned microservices and manage their development, maintenance, and operational excellence.
• Understand, document, and improve existing business logic across microservices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs for frontend applications and external systems.
• Implement Kafka producers and consumers for push notification and email pipelines.
• Integrate with external systems, including BSS, ASM, ATG, Firebase/FCM, email systems, and Vault.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to team members.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations.
• Support production incidents and L3/L4 escalations for owned services.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, technical documentation, test strategies, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.



Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for microservices development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topic management, and consumer groups.
• Solid experience with MySQL, complex queries, transactions, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI, and Swagger documentation.
• Experience with JWT, OAuth2, and token-based authentication and authorization.
• Experience integrating Firebase/FCM for push notifications.
• Proficiency in Git and feature branch workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with Helm chart development and management.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Preferred Skills
• Experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, or Spring Scheduler.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for secrets and certificate management.




• Knowledge of Strimzi Operator and Kafka on Kubernetes.
• Experience with Prometheus, Micrometer, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with distributed tracing tools such as Jaeger or Zipkin.
• Knowledge of the telecom domain, including BSS/OSS provisioning workflows.
• Experience with ELK Stack, Loki, New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with Istio or Envoy.
• Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
