Photography & Videography Intern For the Curious Minds. The Observant Eyes. The Everyday Storytellers.

Location:
Guwahati, Assam (Work from Office) Duration: 3 Months Compensation: Paid Internship Chance: Potential full-time position based on performance and mutual fit We’re Not Just Looking for Someone Who Can Use a Camera. We’re Looking for Someone Who Knows How to See. We believe extraordinary stories are often hidden in the most ordinary places. In the way light falls through a window, the rhythm of a busy street, the expression on someone’s face, or the little details most people walk past without noticing. We’re looking for someone who is curious about the world and never quite satisfied with seeing things the way they have always been seen. Someone who asks questions. Someone who observes. Someone who wants to learn something new every day, challenge their own perspective, and discover possibilities where others see the mundane. You don’t need to know everything. But you should be willing to explore anything. As our Photography & Videography Intern, you will work with us to turn observations into visuals, ideas into stories, and everyday moments into something worth remembering. You will learn by doing, experiment through your work, and contribute to real creative projects. We value curiosity as much as competence, perspective as much as technique, and the willingness to learn as much as what you already know. What You’ll Be Doing
• Seeing differently: Finding interesting perspectives, compositions, moments, and stories in everyday surroundings.
• Capturing stories: Shooting photographs and videos for creative projects, campaigns, social media, and other brand requirements.
• Working with equipment: Handling cameras, gimbals, lenses, lighting, and other production equipment with care and responsibility.
• Thinking beyond the obvious: Exploring fresh visual approaches and experimenting with framing, movement, light, shadows, textures, and storytelling techniques.
• Editing with intention: Turning raw footage and photographs into thoughtful, engaging visual narratives.
• Learning every day: Exploring new techniques, studying references, seeking feedback,

and applying what you learn to your next piece of work.
• Taking ownership: Keeping equipment organised, maintaining the office's creative gear, managing files, and ensuring everything is ready for the next shoot.
• Collaborating creatively: Sharing ideas, questioning assumptions, contributing to brainstorming sessions, and working closely with the team to bring concepts to life. What We’re Looking For 1. A Curious Mind You don't take things at face value. You ask why, what if, and what else. You are interested in people, places, ideas, and the little details that make the world interesting. 2. An Observant Eye You notice things others might overlook. You understand that a good photograph or video isn't always about having an extraordinary subject; sometimes, it's about finding an extraordinary way to look at an ordinary one. 3. A Willingness to Learn You are open to feedback, unafraid of making mistakes, and willing to keep learning. You don't need to have all the answers. You need to have the initiative to look for them. 4. A Foundation in the Craft You should have practical familiarity with:
• Camera operation, including basic exposure, focus, framing, and composition.
• Gimbal operation and basic camera movement.
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (FCP).
• Photo editing using Adobe Photoshop.
• Responsible handling, maintenance, and organisation of cameras, lenses, gimbals, and other office equipment. You don't have to be an expert in everything. But you should be comfortable with the fundamentals and eager to get better. 5. A Sense of Responsibility Creative freedom comes with responsibility. We expect you to respect equipment, meet deadlines, stay organised, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work. 6.

An Open Mind We want someone willing to explore unfamiliar ideas, challenge their own assumptions, learn from different perspectives, and approach creative problems without always reaching for the most obvious solution. What This Internship Offers
• A paid internship: Your time, effort, and contribution to our creative work will be compensated.
• Three months of hands-on experience working on real creative projects.
• An environment where questions, experimentation, and new perspectives are encouraged.
• Opportunities to develop your technical skills and creative judgement.
• Constructive feedback and room to grow through practical work.
• The opportunity to build a portfolio that reflects your evolving perspective and capabilities.
• A chance to be considered for a full-time position after the three-month internship, based on your performance, growth, and mutual fit. Who Should Apply? Students, fresh graduates, aspiring photographers, videographers, editors, and self-taught creatives are welcome to apply. Your degree, background, or years of experience matter less to us than your curiosity, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to the craft. If you find yourself stopping to observe a shaft of light on a wall, wondering how a familiar place might look from a different angle, or imagining stories in moments that others overlook, you might be the person we're looking for.

How to Apply
Send us your resume (at [email protected]) and a portfolio of your photographs, videos, or editing work, along with a short note telling us: What is something ordinary that you find extraordinary, and why? We aren't looking for a perfect answer. We're interested in how you think, what you notice, and how you see the world.

Location:
Guwahati, Assam Work mode: In-office Internship duration: 3 months Compensation: Paid internship Career opportunity: Potential full-time employment after evaluation Come with curiosity. Bring your perspective. Leave room to grow. Because the best visual storytellers aren't just the ones who know how to use a camera. They're the ones who never stop learning how to see.
