Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing accurate financial reports. Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank statements, monitoring expenses, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and maintaining organized financial documentation.



The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support audits as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Firozpur Cantonment. Qualifications
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret financial information, assist with budgeting, and support tax and compliance processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
