Finance & Accounts Manager

As the business grows, we’re looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day finance operations and build a reliable financial operating system across the company.
About the Role
This role goes beyond bookkeeping. You will be responsible for managing accounting operations, client collections, vendor and creator payments, payroll, reconciliations, GST/TDS coordination, cash-flow tracking, and financial reporting. Since a significant part of our business involves international clients and creator payments across different countries, we’re particularly looking for someone who understands cross-border transactions and can help us improve the efficiency of how we receive and send money. You’ll work closely with the founder and coordinate with our CA and external accounting partners where required. Responsibilities
• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and payment follow-ups
• Manage payments to employees, contractors, creators, influencers, vendors, and partners
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure transactions are recorded and reconciled regularly
• Reconcile bank accounts, cards, Wise, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment platforms
• Manage payroll, reimbursements, bonuses, and contractor payments
• Maintain GST, TDS, and other tax-related records and coordinate with the CA for filings and compliance
• Support international client collections and foreign vendor/creator payments
• Evaluate payment methods, forex costs, transaction fees, and banking charges to improve payment efficiency
• Maintain financial records and documentation for foreign inward and outward remittances
• Track accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow,
and upcoming financial obligations
• Maintain revenue and expense reporting across different business lines and projects
• Track campaign-level costs and margins, especially for influencer marketing engagements
• Prepare monthly management reports covering revenue, collections, expenses, outstanding receivables, cash position, and key financial metrics
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning
• Identify inefficiencies, unnecessary expenses, or opportunities to improve financial processes
• Maintain clear internal finance processes, documentation, and controls
• Coordinate with banks, payment providers, CAs, and other financial partners when required What We’re Looking For
• 2–5+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience working with startups, agencies, SaaS companies, IT services, or export-oriented businesses is preferred
• Experience handling international payments or cross-border transactions is highly preferred
• Familiarity with platforms such as Wise, PayPal, Stripe, and international bank transfers is a strong advantage
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• High attention to detail and robust organizational ability
• Comfortable taking ownership of recurring finance operations independently
• Proactive in identifying issues, following up on pending items, and improving processes
• Clear written and verbal communication What We Value We’re looking for someone who does more than maintain records. The right person should be able to bring structure to the finance function, maintain strong financial visibility, identify areas where we can operate more efficiently, and proactively flag issues before they become problems.
• Experience working directly with founders or small, fast-moving teams would be particularly valuable.
