Role Description The Assistant Professor role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Takshashila Institute of Engineering & Technology campus in Amravati. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions; preparing course materials; and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The Assistant Professor is expected to guide students in academic and career matters, supervise research and project work, and contribute to curriculum development in alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies such as AI. Daily responsibilities include engaging in scholarly activities,



participating in departmental and institute-level committees, coordinating with industry partners for academic initiatives, and supporting accreditation, quality assurance, and outreach efforts. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong subject-matter expertise in one or more core engineering disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science & Engineering).
• Candidates should possess skills in teaching, academic mentoring, classroom management, and student assessment, with the ability to use up-to-date pedagogical methods and educational technologies.
• Candidates should possess research and scholarly skills, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and guide student projects and dissertations.
• Candidates should possess skills in curriculum development, outcome-based education, and integration of industry practices and emerging technologies such as AI and digital tools.
• Candidates should possess strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline (with qualifications as per AICTE/UGC norms) is required; a Ph.
D. or enrollment in a Ph.
D. program is preferred.
• Prior teaching or industry experience, familiarity with accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC), and experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or industry-linked activities will
