General Manager – Hotels (GM – Hotels) & Department: Administration / Hospitality Job Summary The General Manager – Hotels will be responsible for the overall management and operational excellence of facilities associated with the University, including guest accommodation, hospitality services, food and beverage operations, housekeeping, front office, and guest relations. The role requires robust leadership, financial management, customer service, and operational expertise to ensure high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Education & Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience & Master's degree in hotel or hospitality operations, preferably with experience managing a hotel or multiple hospitality facilities.
• Experience in reputed hotels, hospitality groups, institutional guest houses,



or large-scale hospitality operations is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
A. Hotel Operations Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, guest houses, and hospitality services.
• Ensure smooth functioning of front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain operational efficiency.
• Monitor service quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. B. Guest Relations and Hospitality
• Ensure exceptional hospitality for university leadership, visiting dignitaries, faculty, guests, and other visitors.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service-related issues promptly.
• Maintain professional hospitality standards and enhance the overall guest experience. C. Food and Beverage Management
• Supervise food preparation, service quality, menu planning, and catering operations, where applicable.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor food costs, inventory, vendor performance, and wastage control.
