- 15 years of experience in backend application development, API engineering, and scalable server-side systems. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, databases, and modern backend development practices. Candidates should be capable of building secure, reliable, and high-performance applications, with opportunities to contribute to technical design and architecture based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Implement business logic, authentication, authorization, and data validation.
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven applications where required.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams. Required Technical Knowledge




• JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
• Node.js architecture, event loop, asynchronous programming, promises, and async/await.
• Node.js streams, buffers, worker threads, and performance optimization.
• Express.js and/or NestJS frameworks.
• REST API design, HTTP methods, status codes, API versioning, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Microservices architecture and distributed application fundamentals.
• SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Database modeling, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
• Authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and role-based access control.
• Messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Caching strategies using Redis or equivalent technologies.
• Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, Mocha, or equivalent tools.
• Error handling, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Application security, OWASP principles, scalability, and system design.
