About the Role
We are looking for a content writer who brings curiosity, original thinking, and a strong sense of storytelling to their work. Our projects span different domains and audiences, from businesses and startup founders to NGOs and political analysts. Each comes with a different subject, perspective, and communication style. We need someone who can get to grips with a topic, find an interesting angle, and turn it into content that people want to read. The work could range from a long-form article or thought leadership piece to a LinkedIn post, social media carousel, or website copy. You should be comfortable with both, enjoy exploring unfamiliar subjects, and be able to take an idea from an initial brief to a well-written final piece. What You’ll Do
• Research and write blogs, articles, opinion pieces, thought leadership content, website copy, and other marketing or editorial content.
• Create social media posts, LinkedIn content, carousels, and short-form copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
• Develop content ideas and find fresh angles instead of relying entirely on detailed briefs.
• Work across different subjects, understanding the context and audience before deciding how best to approach a piece.
• Turn complex information, research, interviews, and raw inputs into clear, well-structured narratives.
• Adapt your writing to different voices, whether you’re writing for a business, a founder, an NGO, or a subject matter expert.
• Work with the team to develop ideas, discuss briefs, incorporate feedback, and improve the final output.
• Manage your assignments independently and deliver well-researched, accurate work within deadlines.
• What We’re Looking For
• 3 to 4 years of experience in writing or content creation.
• Strong writing and research skills,



with samples that demonstrate your ability to handle both long-form and short-form content.
• An independent thinker who can develop ideas, ask the right questions, and bring a fresh perspective to a subject.
• The ability to write in different styles and adapt to different audiences without losing clarity or substance.
• A good sense of what makes a piece compelling, relevant, and worth reading.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, originality, and good editorial judgment.
• Someone who takes ownership of their work, is open to feedback, and can work independently in a remote setup.  Experience with SEO, thought leadership, or writing for social media is useful. Familiarity with business, technology, public policy, or social issues is a plus, but curiosity and the willingness to learn matter just as much.
