We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead Placement & Corporate Relations, strengthen industry partnerships, and drive successful placement outcomes across academic disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Placement Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with the university's career development objectives.
• Lead end-to-end campus recruitment activities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes.
• Establish annual placement targets, recruitment calendars, and measurable performance indicators.
• Drive placement outcomes, improve average compensation packages, and increase the number of students placed with reputed organizations.
• Monitor placement performance, employer participation, student eligibility, and placement conversion rates.
• Develop strategies to improve placements across diverse academic disciplines and emerging industry sectors. 2. Corporate Relations & Industry Partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leading corporates, multinational companies, startups, and industry associations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with HR leaders, talent acquisition heads, business leaders, and recruitment agencies.
• Identify new corporate engagement opportunities to expand the university's employer network.
• Facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), industry collaborations, and long-term recruitment partnerships.
• Organize corporate engagement programmes, industry interactions, networking events, and recruitment drives.
• Strengthen relationships with existing recruiters to encourage repeat hiring and increased recruitment volumes. 3. Campus Recruitment & Employer Engagement
• Lead campus placement drives, pool campus recruitment, recruitment fairs, and corporate hiring events.
• Coordinate with corporate recruiters to understand workforce requirements and upcoming hiring plans.
• Ensure effective communication between employers, students, academic departments, and placement teams.
• Develop customized recruitment strategies based on industry requirements and student competencies.




• Facilitate recruitment opportunities across IT, consulting, BFSI, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, core engineering, management, and other sectors.
• Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for employers and students. 4. Student Employability & Career Readiness
• Collaborate with academic departments and training teams to improve student employability.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training, certification, aptitude development, and interview preparation programmes.
• Drive initiatives related to soft skills, communication, technical competencies, group discussions, and interview readiness.
• Develop industry-specific employability programmes aligned with current recruitment trends.
• Monitor student participation, eligibility, interview performance, and placement readiness.
• Work with faculty and programme leaders to align student capabilities with industry expectations. 5. Team Management & Operational Excellence
• Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of placement managers, corporate relations professionals, and placement coordinators.
• Define individual and team-level targets, review progress, and ensure accountability for placement outcomes.
• Establish standardized placement processes, reporting mechanisms, and employer relationship management practices.
• Maintain accurate databases of recruiters, job opportunities, offers, student selections, and joining status.
• Use placement analytics and dashboards to track performance and support management decisions.
• Ensure timely resolution of employer and student concerns while maintaining professional relationships. 6. Strategic Planning & Management Reporting
• Prepare periodic placement reports, corporate engagement updates, and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Analyse placement trends, salary benchmarks, sector-wise hiring patterns, and recruiter feedback.
• Identify opportunities to increase recruiter participation, placement conversion, and student success rates.
• Develop an annual placement roadmap with clear targets, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Recommend new initiatives to enhance the university's corporate reputation and graduate employability. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing,



or Business Management will be preferred. Required Experience
• 10–20 years of relevant professional experience in campus placements, corporate relations, talent acquisition, university placement leadership, or industry engagement.
• Demonstrated experience in building corporate relationships and managing large-scale recruitment or placement operations.
• Proven track record of achieving placement targets and developing long-term employer partnerships.
• Experience managing teams, handling senior corporate stakeholders, and presenting performance reports to leadership.
• Exposure to higher education institutions, universities, or large-scale graduate recruitment programmes will be an advantage. Essential Skills & Competencies

• Effectiveness of the placement team and timely completion of recruitment activities.
