Design Engineer – SolidWorks

Bengaluru, India Employment Type: Full-Time Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and design documentation in line with project requirements. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawing standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and modify 3D models, mechanical components, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform part modeling, assembly design, and sheet metal design as required.
• Modify existing designs based on engineering feedback and project requirements.
• Apply GD&T; principles and ensure compliance with engineering drawing standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Support design validation, prototyping, and product development activities.
• Maintain accurate design files, drawings, and project documentation.




• Identify opportunities to improve design quality, accuracy, and engineering efficiency. Required Qualifications and Skills
• BE/B.
Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in SolidWorks 3D modeling, assembly design, and 2D drafting.
• Good understanding of mechanical design concepts and engineering drawing standards.
• Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical drawings.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills
• Experience with sheet metal, surface modeling, or complex assemblies.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks Simulation or PDM.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, or other manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to design optimization and product development projects. Joining Requirements Immediate joiners or candidates available to join at short notice are strongly preferred.
