• Guide crane operators using standard hand signals and radio communication during lifting operations.
• Assist in the safe lifting, shifting, loading, and unloading of construction materials.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, rigging teams, and site engineers.
• Ensure that loads are properly secured before lifting, in coordination with the rigger.
• Monitor the lifting area and ensure workers remain transparent of suspended loads.
• Check for obstacles, overhead power lines, and other potential hazards before lifting.
• Follow approved lifting plans and site safety procedures.
• Stop lifting operations immediately if any unsafe condition arises.
• Maintain clear communication with the crane operator throughout the operation.
• Follow all instructions given by the site engineer and safety department.
