We have survived the last 7 years (started in 2016) without this company description, but recently we were asked to make one as it is required as per the norm (similar to the least visited “Privacy Policy” and “Terms & Conditions” thing) to hire peeps to work with us. So here is what you should know “
about us
”: “We are ComicSense. We try to make sugoooi Anime merch. Arigato Gozaimasu” Role Description: This is a full-time on-site internship for a Video Editing Intern at ComicSense, located in the Hidden Hills of Dehradun. You will be cutting reels, chopping raw product footage into something people actually stop scrolling for, adding sound design that doesn’t sound like a 2019 meme page, and stalking trending formats across Instagram, YouTube and TikTok — especially in the anime and clothing niches. Basically: we shoot it, you make it watchable.
Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut. You don’t need to be a wizard, you need to be fast and willing to learn.
• Understanding of pacing, cuts,
transitions and why a hook matters in the first 2 seconds
• Basic color grading knowledge (or at least the willingness to stop making everything orange and teal)
• Sound design instincts — knowing which audio is trending and which is already dead
• Strong attention to detail. If the subtitle timing is off by half a second, it should bother you.
• Ability to take feedback without emotional damage, and to work independently once you get the brief
• A portfolio > a resume. Send reels, edits, even cringe old projects. We want to see how you think.
• Weebs who have wasted a sh*t ton of their lives watching anime are preferred. PS: This is a full-time, in office internship in Dehradun, 9-5, sadly. Stipend: ₹10,000–15,000/month, negotiable for someone whose work speaks for itself. Also, if you are reading this far, please drop a mail at
