We have survived the last 7 years (started in 2016) without this company description, but recently we were asked to make one as it is required as per the norm (similar to the least visited “Privacy Policy” and “Terms & Conditions” thing) to hire peeps to work with us. So here is what you should know “

about us
”: “We are ComicSense. We try to make sugoooi Anime merch. Arigato Gozaimasu” Role Description: This is a full-time on-site internship for a Visual Communication Intern at ComicSense, located in the Hidden Hills of Dehradun. Where our graphic design role is about shipping creatives, this one is about the system behind them — how the brand looks, feels and holds together across everything we put out. You will be working on original merch artwork and print concepts, illustration, typography and lettering, packaging and label design, brand identity elements, motion and animated graphics for social, and the visual language of campaigns and collection launches. Some days it’s designing a tee graphic from scratch. Some days it’s figuring out why our drop pages don’t feel like the same brand as our ads.

Qualifications:
• Solid Illustrator and Photoshop skills; After Effects,



Figma or Procreate are a bonus
• Genuine design thinking — you can explain why a layout works, not just that it looks nice
• Illustration or hand-drawing ability is a serious plus. We sell artwork on fabric.
• Typography and lettering sense. Anime merch lives and dies on type.
• Understanding of brand identity — colour systems, grids, consistency across formats
• Knowledge of print and production for apparel (screen print, DTF, sublimation, bleed, CMYK vs RGB)
• Basic motion graphics for social is a strong advantage
• Ability to take a rough idea and come back with three directions instead of one safe option
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to redo work until it’s right
• Weebs who have wasted a sh*t ton of their lives watching anime are preferred. PS: This is a full-time, on-site internship in Dehradun, 9-5, sadly. Stipend: ₹10,000–15,000/month, negotiable for someone whose work speaks for itself.
