What You'll Do
Cloud Solutioning & Transformation Advisory
• Lead solution design for cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Develop target-state cloud architectures, transformation roadmaps, and migration strategies.
• Conduct workshops, cloud strategy sessions, and discovery assessments.
• Translate business outcomes into scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, infrastructure leaders, and Cloud Centers of Excellence. Solution Architecture & Consulting
• Create end-to-end architectures covering cloud adoption, data center modernization, VMware-to-AWS transformation, hybrid cloud, cloud operations, managed services, and FinOps.
• Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, and reusable frameworks.
• Produce architecture documents, executive presentations, and transformation recommendations.
• Guide solution governance and architecture review processes. Cloud Operating Models & Managed Services
• Define cloud operating models and governance frameworks.
• Design cloud operations, observability, automation, and service management strategies.
• Develop managed services solutions and cloud operational transformation approaches.
• Establish cloud governance, security, compliance, and reliability frameworks. FinOps & Value Realization
• Build FinOps strategies and cloud optimization frameworks.
• Develop cloud business cases, total cost of ownership assessments, and ROI models.
• Recommend consumption optimization strategies and governance controls.
• Design chargeback, showback,



and cloud financial management models. Pre-Sales & Opportunity Development
• Support strategic pursuits, RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
• Develop solution narratives, effort estimates, operating models, and commercial assumptions.
• Partner with account and sales teams to shape cloud transformation opportunities.
• Participate in customer presentations, technical deep dives, and executive discussions.
• Articulate the business value of cloud transformation, operational modernization, and cloud financial management. Technical Leadership
• Provide architectural leadership to delivery teams.
• Mentor architects and consultants across cloud programs.
• Establish solution standards, best practices, and reusable assets.
• Stay current with AWS services, cloud trends, and industry transformation patterns. Expertise You'll Bring:
• 12–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years architecting AWS-based cloud transformation and migration solutions.
• Proven experience shaping large-scale cloud programs and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing solutioning and pre-sales activities.
• Strong experience working with enterprise clients in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and executive oversight.
• Core AWS Cloud Architecture:
• AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and IAM
• EC2, EKS, ECS, VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53
• S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, and RDS
• CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS backup and recovery services




• Enterprise infrastructure architecture and data center transformation
• VMware modernization, network architecture, identity and access management
• Storage, backup, business continuity, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud integration
• Cloud operating models, governance, FinOps frameworks, and cloud cost optimization
• Working knowledge of IT service management, AIOps, observability, infrastructure automation, and service delivery transformation is desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred; professional-level certification is an advantage.
