[Mention Plant Location] Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage warehouse and stores operations in a solar glass manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of inventory management, material handling, dispatch planning, warehouse safety, and ERP systems, preferably in glass manufacturing or a similar manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day warehouse and stores operations, including receipt, storage, preservation, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and periodic physical verification.
• Monitor the receipt and storage of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished solar glass.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Logistics, and Planning teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Manage finished goods storage and dispatch activities while ensuring proper handling of glass to prevent breakage and damage.
• Maintain inventory records, GRN, material issue slips, delivery challans, and other warehouse documentation.
• Ensure proper material identification, FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable, and effective space utilization.




• Monitor stock levels, minimize inventory discrepancies, and prevent material loss or damage.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, 5S practices, and company procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, stock movement, breakage, and warehouse performance.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety practices. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or stores management in a manufacturing industry.
• Experience in solar glass, float glass, automotive glass, or other glass manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of glass handling, packaging, storage, and breakage prevention practices.
