GetDigiCompanion is an early-stage B2B SaaS startup digitizing local Indian retail merchants and service providers. We empower local shop owners (brands, local shops, boutiques, consultants) to take their brand to every online channel in minutes. We provide merchants with their own AI-powered website, marketplace syncing (Amazon, Flipkart), and an automated social media engine that generates and posts Reels, drafts customer replies, and manages their Google Business Profile. The Role:We are seeking a highly driven, field-oriented Regional Business Associate to lead our door-to-door merchant acquisition campaign in Karur and neighboring towns. Your primary focus will be selling our Self, Basic, and Pro Social Packages. You will show local shop owners how they can stop struggling with social media and let our AI and dedicated Business Associates handle their content strategy, daily posts, Reels creation, and online ad management. This role requires a blend of local market knowledge, high energy, and the ability to explain complex "AI" and "Social Media Marketing" concepts simply in conversational Tamil language.

Key Responsibilities
• Field Merchant Acquisition: Conduct door-to-door visits to local retail shops, salons, and service centers in Karur to pitch the GetDigiCompanion platform, focusing on the pain points of social media management and online visibility.
• Consultative Selling (The Content Pitch): Assess a merchant's current online presence. Demonstrate how our platform solves their content problem by pitching the correct tier:
• Self: For DIY owners needing an AI Content Studio and AI-generated Reels.
• Basic: For owners who want us to run their social media entirely (30 posts, 8 Reels/mo, AI auto-replies).
• Pro: For premium merchants needing monthly in-person photo/video shoots, aggressive posting (60 posts/15 Reels), marketplace syncing, and paid Meta/Google ads.
• On-Ground Content Collection: Act as the physical bridge for our "Basic" and "Pro" tier clients.



You will occasionally assist in capturing raw photos/videos of their shop and products to feed back to our central editing and AI generation teams.
• Account Setup & Demonstration: Walk merchants through the initial 30-minute setup process—entering their shop name, applying the AI-generated brand kit (including automated logo and color palette extraction), and showing them how to use the 1-tap WhatsApp sharing feature.
• Relationship Building: Build immediate rapport and trust with local shop owners. Act as their primary point of contact for onboarding and local troubleshooting. What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
1–3 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, retail onboarding, or digital marketing sales. (Experience selling digital marketing services, JustDial listings, or Swiggy/Zomato onboarding is a massive plus).
• Content Awareness: A strong understanding of how social media (Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, Google Reviews) drives local business. You must be able to confidently explain the value of a "Reel" or "Google Maps Listing" to a traditional shop owner.
• Language

Skills:
Fluent in conversational Tamil (Tanglish) and proficient in basic English business terminology.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Karur commercial landscape and surrounding 2-hour radius tier-2/3 towns.
