IDEF provides a wide range of solutions such as dairy plants, ghee and paneer plants, flavored milk and milk powder plants, and various storage tanks and processing equipment. Its portfolio also includes specialized systems like homogenisers, heat exchangers, chillers, sterilizers, bulk milk coolers, conveyor systems, CIP systems, and washing equipment. IDEF additionally manufactures a variety of fittings and sanitary pumps that support secure, productive, and compliant food processing operations. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AutoCAD Designer at Indian Dairy Equipments & Fabricators. The AutoCAD Designer will create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings for food processing equipment, plant layouts, and related structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Daily tasks include interpreting technical specifications, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and translating concepts into transparent construction and fabrication drawings.



The role involves optimizing space utilization in processing units, maintaining drawing documentation, and coordinating updates based on feedback from stakeholders. The AutoCAD Designer will also support continuous improvement by proposing design refinements that enhance safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Drawing and Architectural Drawings for industrial or food processing environments.
• Candidates should possess experience with Construction Drawings and Space Planning for equipment layouts and plant design.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with engineering, production, and client teams.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and related CAD tools; experience with other design software is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Understanding of food processing, dairy, or hygienic equipment design standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with fabrication processes are advantageous.
