Role Description The Production and Quality Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Vapi. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production activities for personal care, home care, and plastic division products, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. The role includes monitoring and improving production processes, implementing and maintaining quality control systems, supervising and training production and quality teams, and coordinating with maintenance, procurement, and logistics to minimize downtime and optimize resources. The manager will review and approve production and quality documentation, conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements. Regular reporting to senior management on production performance, quality metrics,



and improvement plans is also a key part of the role. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, line balancing, and resource optimization in manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess quality management skills such as developing and implementing quality systems, conducting inspections and audits, managing non-conformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of process improvement and industrial practices, including continuous improvement methodologies, basic lean principles, and familiarity with production metrics and KPIs.
• Candidates should possess leadership and team management abilities, including supervising cross-functional teams, coaching and mentoring staff, and managing performance and workplace safety.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make data-driven decisions under time constraints.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders such as R&D;, maintenance, supply chain, and senior management, as well as external partners and auditors.
• Relevant experience in FMCG, personal care, home care, or plastics manufacturing is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to these product categories.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, Production Management, or a related field is preferred, along with demonstrated experience in a similar production and quality leadership role.
