about us
https://www.aticaglobal.com https://www.linkedin.com/company/atica-global The Role You do not need a background in hotels for this role. You need to be organised, accurate, and comfortable working to deadlines. Atica manages sales and revenue for hotels across the US. When a company or an event organiser wants to book a large number of rooms at once, that request comes to us, and setting it up correctly is the work of the Operations team. As an Operations Associate you are given a set of hotels to look after. Requests come in against those hotels through the day: setting up a block of rooms for a group, updating a booking, answering a question from the hotel or the client. Each type of request has a deadline attached to it. Your job is to complete each one before its deadline, and to complete it correctly. Every hotel belongs to a brand, such as Hilton, Marriott, Choice or Wyndham. Each brand has its own booking system and its own rules, so you learn them one at a time. You will start with a few and add more as you go. The number you can handle on your own is what decides how quickly you move up.

Key Responsibilities
Look after a set of hotels and handle every request raised against them,

within the deadline set for that type of request. Set up room blocks for group bookings correctly, record the required details, and follow the documented process for each step. Work through your queue by what is due soonest, not by what arrived last. Tell your manager early, and in writing, when you cannot meet a deadline and why: a missing input from another team, incomplete information from the hotel, or a system problem. Learn the brands assigned to you until you can handle each one without help, and work through the training plan for the brands you have not been assigned yet. Keep your records accurate. Close a request only when it is actually done, and leave notes the next person can pick up from. Hand over cleanly at the end of each shift: what is still open, what is waiting on someone else, and what is close to its deadline. Work with the Sales, Revenue and Reservations teams, cover for colleagues when needed, and flag steps in the documented process that do not work. How Your Work Is Measured Five measures, reviewed with your manager every month. Turnaround — how long you take to complete a request, against the deadline for that type of request. On-time rate — the share of your requests completed within the deadline. Accuracy — whether the work was done correctly: the block set up right, the details recorded, the process followed. Brands you can run independently — how many of your assigned brands you can handle end to end without help.

Brands you are learning — your progress on the brands not yet assigned to you. Deadlines are counted only during your shift hours, not around the clock. If a request arrives too close to the end of your shift to be finished in time, the remaining time carries into your next shift. Mistakes are discussed with your manager when they happen rather than raised at the end of the month. Qualifications Available to work from our Pune office, Monday to Friday, on the shift timings listed above. 0–2 years of experience. Freshers are welcome. No hotel or travel background is needed — we train you on the systems and the processes. Strong written and spoken English. Most of the work is written, and it goes to clients and hotels in the US. Accurate under time pressure. The work is judged on both speed and correctness, and one does not make up for the other. Willing to follow a documented process exactly, and to raise it when the process is wrong rather than working around it. Able to manage your own queue of work and keep records up to date without being chased. Comfortable with spreadsheets, and quick to pick up a new ticketing or CRM system. Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience. Why Join Us The best comprehensive health benefits in the country (includes IPD + OPD), covering the employee, spouse, and two children. Competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and rapid growth/advancement opportunities inside a fast-expanding startup. 2 review cycles based on performance. Comp-off for any weekend day worked. Promotion criteria that are written down and reviewed monthly. A highly collaborative, energetic, and inclusive work culture. Atica Global is an equal prospect employer and welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
