Role Description This full-time Architectural Intern role is an on-site position based at Ingrain’s studio in Mumbai. The intern will support project teams in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and creating design presentations across residential, commercial, and urban-scale projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with 2D and 3D documentation, contributing to design research and case studies, and coordinating with team members to refine layouts, details, and material palettes.



The role also involves participating in internal reviews, updating project files and models, and helping compile reports and submissions for clients and consultants. The Architectural Intern will gain exposure to sustainable design strategies, integrated urban thinking, and end-to-end project processes, from early visioning to construction-stage support. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Architecture, with ongoing or completed education in architecture or a closely related field.
• Candidates should possess Architectural Design skills, including concept development, spatial planning, and production of drawings and visual presentations.
• Candidates should possess Solution Architecture and Integration-related skills, such as understanding how buildings, urban systems, and landscapes work together in cohesive, sustainable designs.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to articulate design intent, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and prepare concise documentation.
• Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar), and basic knowledge of graphic software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and capacity to manage multiple tasks within project timelines are expected.
• Interest in sustainability, urbanism, and data-informed design approaches, along with familiarity with relevant codes and standards, will be an advantage.
