The role provides dedicated support for the WiSen monitoring portal, including reviewing monitoring information and configuring project reports. It also supports the processing and transfer of photogrammetric, LiDAR, drone survey and ArcScan/scan outputs for effective use within GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. WiSen Monitoring Portal and Reporting
• Provide day-to-day support for the WiSen monitoring portal.
• Review and validate monitoring information available through the WiSen system.
• Configure, maintain and issue monitoring reports in line with project requirements.
• Support engineering teams with project-specific monitoring, interpretation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with monitoring data and reporting associated with engineering instrumentation, including tiltmeters.
• Develop consistent reporting templates and processes as the monitoring service expands. 2. Photogrammetric, LiDAR and Drone Survey Data Processing
• Receive, review and organise photogrammetric, LiDAR and UAV survey datasets and associated deliverables.
• Process photogrammetric and LiDAR survey data using appropriate specialist software and agreed project workflows.
• Undertake or support bundle adjustment, image alignment, point-cloud generation and quality assessment of UAV survey data.
• Prepare imagery, point clouds, terrain products and other survey outputs for use within GIS systems.
• Check coordinate reference systems, spatial alignment, accuracy, completeness and data quality before integration.
• Organise and maintain processed survey datasets using consistent naming,

metadata and version-control practices. 3. ArcScan / Scan Data Integration
• Receive and manage ArcScan and other scan-derived survey data from surveying activities.
• Prepare, convert and structure relevant survey outputs in GIS-compatible formats.
• Transfer and integrate processed data into ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro environments.
• Carry out quality checks and validation of transferred spatial information.
• Liaise with Survey and GIS teams to resolve data-format, coordinate-system, accuracy or compatibility issues. 4. GIS and Spatial Data Support
• Create, configure and maintain GIS databases and Esri geodatabases for project use.
• Maintain and update project GIS datasets, including associated attributes and metadata.
• Produce GIS maps, layouts and spatial information required by project and engineering teams.
• Support the conversion and integration of survey, CAD, point-cloud, imagery and other spatial datasets.
• Maintain data quality, traceability and appropriate metadata in accordance with project standards.
• Support the improvement and standardisation of Survey-to-GIS workflows. 5. Data Analysis and Digital Reporting
• Review engineering monitoring, survey and spatial datasets to identify data-quality issues and reporting requirements.
• Prepare technical information, maps and data summaries for project reporting.

• Support Microsoft Excel and Power BI reporting and dashboard development where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate repetitive data-processing and reporting activities.
• Support the development of standard reporting templates, data-management processes and documented workflows. Skills and Experience Essential
• Practical experience with ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro.
• GIS database and geodatabase creation, spatial data management and metadata maintenance.
• Experience handling survey data, including conversion and preparation for GIS use.
• Understanding of coordinate reference systems, spatial alignment, accuracy and data-quality principles.
• Experience in data validation, quality checking and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and work collaboratively with Survey, GIS, Design and Engineering teams.
• Relevant Experience 6+ years. Desirable
• Experience with the WiSen monitoring portal or a similar engineering monitoring system.
• Experience working with engineering instrumentation and monitoring data.
• Experience processing photogrammetric, LiDAR and UAV survey data and integrating outputs into GIS.
• Understanding of bundle adjustment and UAV-data processing using photogrammetric software such as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape or Bentley ContextCapture.
• Experience processing ArcScan, scan-derived or point-cloud data.
• Experience working with geospatial imagery, terrain products and point clouds.
• Knowledge of CAD/GIS interoperability and survey-to-GIS workflows.
• Experience with Power BI or other digital reporting tools.
• Experience supporting civil engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
