Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Articleship role focused on GST, based in Chennai. The articleship trainee will assist in preparing and reviewing GST returns, reconciliations, and working papers under guidance of seniors. The role involves supporting GST audits, handling documentation, maintaining compliance records, and helping with responses to departmental queries or notices. The trainee will conduct research on GST laws, notifications, and circulars, and contribute to internal knowledge notes and client communication.



Day-to-day activities include coordinating with team members, organizing client data, ensuring timely filings, and participating in internal trainings to build technical and professional skills. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of GST concepts, indirect tax fundamentals, and an interest in tax and compliance work.
• Candidates should possess skills in accounting basics, financial statement understanding, and reconciliation of ledgers and tax data.
• Candidates should possess abilities in research, analysis, and interpretation of tax laws, rules, notifications, and circulars.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and common accounting or tax software used for returns and documentation.
• Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
• Candidates should possess a proactive learning mindset, professional ethics, and the ability to work collaboratively in a structured team environment.
• Ongoing or completed Chartered Accountancy articleship eligibility, or equivalent professional qualification track in India, will be beneficial.
