Role Description SAP BW/4HANA Consultant will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining enterprise data warehouse solutions and bridges data extraction between SAP S/4HANA source systems and analytical reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform performance tuning for data loads, process chains, queries, and reports
• Monitor and troubleshoot data extraction, transformation, and reporting issues
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and BW on HANA implementations
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards
• Performed BW housekeeping activities, including data volume management, process chain monitoring, PSA cleanup, request deletion, and system health checks




• Managed SAP SLT replication configurations, troubleshooting replication issues, monitoring load jobs, and ensuring real-time data availability between source systems and SAP HANA
• Planned and executed SAP BW data archiving and retention processes to optimize database performance and comply with data governance requirements
• Participated in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and patch implementations, including impact assessment, testing, validation, and post-go-live support
• Conducted performance tuning for BW data loads, HANA models, queries, and reporting applications.
• Collaborated with BASIS, functional, and business teams to resolve production issues
• Ensured compliance with audit, security, and GxP/SOX/data governance requirements through proper documentation and change management practices
• Prepare technical documentation and provide user support Education, Experience and Skill-set Required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of SAP experience
• Solid experience in SAP BW 7.x / BW on HANA/SAP BOBJ
• Experience of SAP ECC, SLT, SDI and data extraction mechanisms
• Experience with reporting tools such as: SAP BusinessObjects including AFO
• SQL and ABAP debugging knowledge
• Performance optimization and troubleshooting skills
