Role Description The Repair Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru at iFixIndia’s Apple service centers. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues in Apple devices, performing component-level repairs, and conducting thorough testing to ensure devices meet quality standards before return to customers. The technician will handle routine equipment maintenance, document repair activities, and follow established processes to maintain repair speed without compromising quality.



Day-to-day responsibilities also include communicating clearly with service advisors or customers about issues and repair status, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and adhering to safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols. The role contributes directly to delivering high customer satisfaction and supporting the company’s reputation for premium Apple repair services. Qualifications
• Strong technical skills in appliance and electronic device repair, with experience working on smartphones, laptops, or similar devices.
• Ability to maintain equipment and tools effectively, including routine checks, calibration, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing diagnostics, and identifying root causes efficiently.
• Focus on customer satisfaction, with a commitment to quality, reliability, and timely delivery of repair services.
• Explicit and professional communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers, and for documenting repair work.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or mobile repair is preferred.
• Prior experience repairing Apple or other premium devices is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, follow standard operating procedures, and collaborate in a team setting.
