About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Observability Engineer with strong hands-on experience in LogicMonitor administration and troubleshooting. In this individual-contributor role, you will independently manage and enhance LogicMonitor environments across multiple customer accounts, supporting day-to-day monitoring operations and new customer implementations. You will partner with infrastructure, application and customer teams to improve monitoring coverage, reduce false positives, automate recurring tasks and strengthen service reliability.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer and troubleshoot LogicMonitor environments across multiple customer accounts.
• Deploy, configure and maintain collectors, devices and monitoring protocols.
• Create, modify and optimize LogicModules, including DataSources and ConfigSources.
• Configure thresholds, alert rules, maintenance windows, dashboards and reports.
• Automate monitoring tasks using Python, PowerShell and LogicMonitor APIs.
• Manage L2 incidents, service requests, changes and escalations within agreed SLAs.
• Support customer onboarding and the implementation of monitoring for new environments.
• Investigate monitoring gaps,



reduce false positives and recommend improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required Skills and

Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience in LogicMonitor administration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience deploying, configuring and managing LogicMonitor collectors.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot SNMP-, WMI
- and SSH-based monitoring.
• Experience adding, modifying and removing devices in LogicMonitor.
• Working knowledge of monitoring VMware/ESXi, Linux, cloud and Microsoft Cluster environments.
• Proficiency in configuring URL monitoring, resource groups, properties, maintenance windows and alert rules.
• Experience importing and modifying LogicModules, including DataSources and ConfigSources.
• Strong capability in configuring thresholds, dashboards, reports and alerting.
• Sound understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
• Scripting and automation capability using Python and/or Java, including API-based use cases.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage priorities across customer environments.
• Clear communication, technical documentation and collaboration skills. Good to Have:
• Familiarity with LogicMonitor APIs.
• Exposure to ServiceNow, PagerDuty or other monitoring integrations.
• Knowledge of other observability tools, such as Elastic or Dynatrace.
• Basic understanding of database monitoring.
