About the Team The Credit Strategy team at Navi is responsible for developing, optimizing and implementing underwriting strategies across key lending products. The team owns and drives key underwriting metrics, asset quality indicators, and portfolio monitoring, ensuring that credit decisions align with business objectives and the Company's risk tolerance. Its focus is on continually enhancing underwriting quality and portfolio health to support sustainable growth.

About the Role
As a Credit Field Intelligence Executive, you are the face of Navi on the ground. Your primary responsibility is to conduct in-person field visits / video Personal Discussions (PD) for Home Loan and LAP (Loan Against Property) applicants. You will go beyond the documents to assess a borrower’s "intent to pay" and "ability to pay" by visiting their residences and places of business. What We Expect From You
• Field Engagement: Conduct assigned field visits at customer sites / video Personal Discussions (PD) within defined Turnaround Times (TAT).
• Income Assessment: Perform manual income assessments for self-employed and formal / informal income profiles (e.g., small traders, contractors, or dairy farmers) by analyzing business activity and cash flows.
• Verification: Verify the authenticity of KYC and income documents during the visit to ensure they match the digital application.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed PD reports, including geo-tagged photographs, and upload them into Navi’s system.
• Collaboration: Coordinate closely with HQ Credit Managers to resolve any ground-level discrepancies or queries found during the visit.
• Integrity: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward illicit offers and uphold the highest ethical standards of the Navi OS. Must Haves

Experience:
1–3 years of experience in Home Loans and LAP within an NBFC or Housing Finance Company (HFC).
• Practical





Skills:
Ability to calculate income for "informal" borrowers who may lack traditional documentation.
• Communication: Excellent probing and interpersonal skills; fluency in the local language (e.g., Kannada or Telugu) is essential for effective customer discussions.
• Mobility: Ownership of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory for field visits.
• Geographic Awareness: Strong familiarity with local business practices and geography in your assigned region.
