About Us
Thilak & Co Chartered Accountants is a Chartered Accountancy practice offering audit, assurance, taxation and compliance services to a diverse client base. We are looking for a dependable Associate Manager to join our Coimbatore office and work closely with the proprietor in delivering quality client work. Role Overview As Associate Manager, you will take charge of day-to-day audit and office operations, guide a team of 2 to 5 staff, and ensure engagements are completed accurately and on time. You will work directly with the proprietor and are expected to quickly absorb technical guidance and apply it on engagements.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, execute and review audit assignments (statutory, tax and internal audits)
• Supervise, allocate work to, and coordinate with audit staff and articled assistants
• Review working papers, schedules and financial statements prepared by the team
• Ensure timely completion of engagements and statutory deadlines
• Act as the point of contact between the proprietor,



staff and clients
• Understand the proprietor's instructions on technical concepts and implement them accurately
• Support in drafting reports, notes to accounts and client communications
• Mentor junior staff and maintain quality and discipline in the office Requirements
• 2 to 5 years of experience in an audit firm or CA office (mandatory)
• Qualification: CA Inter (preferred), B.
Com or M.
Com or similar
• Sound knowledge of auditing standards, Companies Act, Income Tax and GST
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate a team
• Robust learning ability and willingness to follow guidance on technical concepts
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil
• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and accounting/audit software

Working Hours
Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
