Role Description The Café Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Maa’s Cafe in Defence Colony. This role oversees daily café operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising front-of-house and back-of-house activities, and ensuring consistent product quality and service standards. The Café Manager will handle customer interactions, resolve issues, monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and support ordering and stock control. The role includes tracking sales performance, implementing promotional activities, overseeing cash handling and basic reporting, and maintaining hygiene, safety, and compliance standards. The Café Manager will also support hiring, training, and motivating team members,



fostering a positive and inclusive work setting. Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and support team members effectively.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including menu items, preparation standards, and hygiene practices.
• Sales skills to drive revenue, promote offerings, and support basic sales tracking and reporting.
• Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management, including supervising staff and coordinating daily operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and handling cash and digital payments accurately.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Prior experience in a similar managerial role is preferred; relevant training or education in hospitality or business is an advantage.
