Role Description: This full-time, on-site role as a Junior Designer / Draftsperson (0–3 years) is based in Chennai. The role involves preparing and updating 2D and 3D drawings, assisting in design development, and supporting senior designers and engineers with detailed construction drawings and documentation. The Junior Designer / Draftsperson will coordinate with project teams to understand design requirements, ensure drawings meet standards and specifications, and assist in revising layouts based on feedback. Daily tasks include organizing project files, maintaining drawing accuracy, preparing basic quantity estimates, and supporting site teams with explicit and timely design information. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess foundational skills in technical drawing and drafting using CAD or similar design software, with the ability to produce accurate plans, elevations, and sections.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of construction design principles, building materials, and structural layouts, with attention to practical detailing.
• Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and in translating conceptual sketches into clear technical documents.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing revisions while maintaining version control.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and site staff, and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
• A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; 0–3 years of relevant experience in drafting or junior design roles is suitable.
• Familiarity with local building codes and standards, and the ability to adapt to company processes and project timelines, will be beneficial.
