Role Description The Head of Quality Assurance is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana, responsible for leading the quality function across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing quality control activities on the shop floor, establishing and maintaining quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. The role involves planning and executing quality audits, analyzing quality data and trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The Head of Quality Assurance will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, optimize processes, and reduce defects and rework.



This position also includes mentoring and developing quality team members, preparing quality reports and documentation, and supporting customer visits and external audits. Qualifications
• Solid Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with experience in monitoring production processes and product conformity.
• Proficiency in Quality Management, including establishing and maintaining quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Experience in Quality Auditing, with the ability to plan, conduct, and report internal and supplier audits.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret quality data, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Prior leadership experience in a quality function within manufacturing, preferably automotive or engineering components.
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards (such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar) and related documentation practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop quality staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
