Company Description FlowAI enhances patient care by combining intelligent AI agents with seamless electronic medical record (EMR) integration and HIPAA-compliant workflow automation. The company focuses on modernizing healthcare operations, helping organizations streamline clinical and administrative processes. FlowAI’s solutions are designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient experience across diverse care settings. Team members collaborate with healthcare providers and technology partners to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative tools that support better outcomes. Role Description The Revenue Cycle (RCM) Integration Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for implementing and optimizing revenue cycle workflows within FlowAI’s integrated solutions. Day-to-day work includes analyzing existing revenue cycle processes, configuring and testing RCM integrations with EMR and billing systems, and ensuring data integrity across financial and clinical workflows. The specialist collaborates with clients, internal product teams, and technical staff to translate business requirements into effective integration designs, troubleshoot issues, and support go-live activities. This role also monitors performance metrics, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and provides training and documentation to help customers use RCM features effectively. Qualifications Claims and EDI
• Design and own FlowOS's X12 pipelines: 837P/837I claim generation, 999 and 277CA acknowledgments, 276/277 claim status, and 835 remittance parsing.
• Turn payer companion guides and clearinghouse edits into configuration-driven rules, not one-off code,
so current payers onboard without engineering changes.
• Build claim scrubbing and validation that catches NCCI, modifier, NPI/taxonomy, demographic and eligibility errors before submission. Clearinghouse and payer connectivity
• Integrate with clearinghouses through API and SFTP: enrollment, batch and real-time submission, acknowledgment handling, and error recovery that is idempotent and auditable.
• Own payer enrollment flows for EDI, ERA and EFT, and keep payer IDs, routing and trading-partner settings correct per customer.
• Wire up eligibility (270/271) and prior authorization (278) so front-end data feeds clean claims on the back end. Interoperating with incumbent billing systems
• Lead integrations where FlowOS runs beside an existing billing or practice management platform (Imagine, MedInformatix, Athelas, and others): charge import, demographic and insurance sync, payment and adjustment writeback.
• Map each system's charge, claim and ledger model into FlowOS's data model, preserving a clean audit trail from order to claim to cash.
• Own reconciliation: matching 835s to claims and deposits, splitting bulk payments, handling recoupments, takebacks and PLB adjustments. Product and customer leadership
• Shape the Revenue Cycle Agents roadmap with product and engineering: coding and charge capture, denial categorization (CARC/RARC), appeals and underpayment detection.
• Act as the senior technical voice on go-lives: test claim cycles, parallel runs with the incumbent system, cutover, and post-live triage with billing managers.
• Write the integration playbooks, test harnesses and runbooks that let the rest of the team scale without you in every call.
