Experience:
Minimum 5 years of Australian KPO experience About Aventis Aventis operates across two complementary business arms:
• Outsourcing / KPO: Providing accounting, taxation, bookkeeping and SMSF support to Australian accounting firms and businesses.
• Australian Tax Practice: Delivering accounting, tax compliance and advisory services directly to Australian individuals and businesses. Our team gains exposure to both outsourced accounting assignments and direct Australian tax practice work, offering varied client experience and strong technical development.

About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Accountant who can independently manage client assignments, review work and support team development across our outsourcing and Australian tax practice arms.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently prepare complex Australian financial statements and individual, partnership, trust and company tax returns.
• Review tax returns, financial statements, BAS, IAS and workpapers prepared by intermediate and junior accountants.
• Identify accounting and tax issues, research solutions and escalate matters requiring manager input.
• Manage assigned client portfolios, workflow, budgets and lodgement deadlines.
• Communicate directly with Australian clients to resolve queries and obtain outstanding information.




• Support tax planning and advisory assignments under manager guidance.
• Mentor team members, provide constructive review feedback and improve work quality. Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of Australian accounting and taxation experience within a KPO is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to independently finalise Australian accounting and tax assignments.
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior or intermediate accountants.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, entity structures, GST, BAS, IAS and PAYG.
• Proficiency in Xero and Australian tax preparation and practice management software.
• Confident client communication, sound technical judgement and strong workflow management.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CA/CPA qualification or studies are preferred; SMSF experience is advantageous. Why Join Us?
