Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Zone by The Park in Chennai. This role oversees day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for the hotel. The Finance Manager monitors revenue and cost performance, ensures accurate accounting entries, and supports month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies, and coordinating with auditors and external partners as needed. Additionally, the Finance Manager collaborates with operational teams to provide financial insights, support business decisions,



and contribute to overall profitability and sustainable growth. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to analyze hotel revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation, including experience with general ledger and month-end closing.
• Experience in financial controls, compliance, and audit coordination, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Proficiency with financial and accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries is preferred, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.
