Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C# programming, framework design, and multi-platform test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and REST APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional development and QA teams to ensure high software quality, optimal test coverage, and productive CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities1. Automation Framework Development & Maintenance

-

Design, build, and enhance scalable, robust test automation frameworks using C# (e.g., Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with SpecFlow/Cucumber).

Maintain and optimize existing automation suites to increase efficiency, reduce execution time, and minimize flaky tests.

2. Web, Mobile & API Automation

-

Execute end-to-end web application automation using Selenium WebDriver with C#.

Automate mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Appium framework.

Design, develop, and automate functional and non-functional REST API test scripts using tools/libraries such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient.

3. Test Execution, Analysis & Reporting

-





Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for continuous testing.

Perform regular automated regression runs, analyze failure logs, and report defects accurately in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to review user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

-

Core Programming: Strong hands-on proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction).

Test Automation Tools: Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

API Testing: Demonstrated experience in automating RESTful APIs and validating JSON/XML responses.

Framework Design: Practical experience architecting or contributing to automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Data-Driven).

Defect & Test Management: Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

Experience with SpecFlow (BDD framework for C#/.NET).

Exposure to version control systems like Git or Azure Repos.

Experience with CI/CD tool integration (Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
