Position - Billing & Estimation Engineer, Interior Works

Experience

5 years and above in Billing & Estimation, preferably with strong exposure to interior fit-out and turnkey projects.

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare client and subcontractor bills based on actual work executed at the site.
- Conduct detailed site measurements and prepare measurement sheets.
- Coordinate with the client, architect, and PMC to verify and certify measurements.
- Prepare and submit RA bills / running account bills and ensure timely certification.
- Prepare BOQs, estimates, and rate analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for tender preparation and submission.
- Carry out rate analysis for various interior and civil works.
- Verify quantities executed at site against approved drawings, BOQs, and work orders.
- Identify variations, additional works, and deviations and prepare supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with the project/site team to obtain accurate work progress and measurement details.
- Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budgeting for projects.
- Review subcontractor bills and verify quantities and rates before processing.
- Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, approvals, and certifications.
- Ensure billing is prepared accurately and in accordance with contract terms, BOQ, and approved rates.

Technical Knowledge Required

The candidate should have positive practical knowledge of interior and civil execution, including:

- Carpentry works
- Civil works: raw and finished
- POP/Gypsum works
- Painting works
- Plumbing works
- Electrical works
- HVAC works
- Flooring and other interior finishing works

Project / Interior Exposure

Experience in billing and estimation for one or more of the following is preferred:

- Residential Interiors
- Commercial Projects




- Corporate Offices
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Banks
- Retail Outlets
- Healthcare Projects
- Turnkey Interior Projects

Educational Qualification

- BE / B.Tech Civil Engineering, or
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design / Interior-related Discipline

SITE ENGINEER

Experience: 23 years minimum
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field

Job Summary
