Job Title: QA/QC Executive, Steel & Iron Manufacturing

Department: Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Reports To: QA/QC Manager

Ensures that all raw materials, in-process manufacturing stages, and finished steel/iron products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting rigorous testing, implementing quality management systems (QMS), managing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Testing (In-Process & Finished Goods)

- Material Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials (iron ore, scrap, coal, fluxing agents) to ensure they meet chemical and physical standards.
- Testing Execution:



Conduct and oversee destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT), including tensile testing, hardness testing, metallographic analysis, and chemical composition analysis (spectrometry).

Sample Handling and Preparation: Sampling, sorting, and labelling samples. Crushing, pulverising, splitting, and sieving samples according to established procedures. Preparing samples for analysis using various techniques (wet analysis).

Education: BSc Organic Chemistry
