We are seeking an experienced Markit EDM Developer with strong expertise in ETL development and SQL Server technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data management solutions using Markit EDM, ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and operational stability across multiple environments.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Markit EDM (IHS Markit Enterprise Data Management)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, coordinate, and support ETL processes using Markit EDM.
- Architect and maintain database table structures to support business and data integration requirements.
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable ETL workflows that ensure high performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement cross-validation rules and data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data mappings.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data management solutions.




- Create and maintain technical documentation, including ETL workflows, data mappings, validation rules, and support procedures.
- Document and manage migration procedures for database objects across Development, UAT, Staging, and Production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, database, and data quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust data management solutions.
- Ensure long-term scalability, maintainability, and stability of Markit EDM and related database solutions.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within financial services, capital markets, or enterprise data management environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with release management and deployment processes.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and SQL Server technologies.
- Proven hands-on experience with Markit EDM implementations, enhancements, and support.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
