Role & responsibilities

- Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck disorders.
- Conduct OPD consultations, evaluate referrals, and manage admitted patients as required.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
- Perform ENT surgeries and specialized procedures as per qualifications, clinical expertise, and hospital privileges.
- Manage complex ENT cases and emergencies, including epistaxis, airway obstruction, and foreign bodies.
- Interpret audiometry, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and relevant imaging reports.
- Perform pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, and post-operative monitoring.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, prognosis, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with anesthesiologists and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
- Supervise and guide junior doctors and clinical staff involved in ENT patient care, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, medical records, and procedure notes.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control practices, patient safety standards,



and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- MS / DNB / DLO in ENT from a recognized medical institution.
- Relevant experience in ENT consultation, diagnosis, and clinical management.
- 4-8 years of experience post PG.
- Expertise in managing ear, nose, throat, sinus, and related head and neck disorders.
- Experience in performing ENT surgical procedures as per clinical expertise.
- Knowledge of FESS, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and other ENT procedures.
- Proficiency in ENT diagnostic techniques, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and otoscopy.
- Ability to manage ENT emergencies and make appropriate clinical decisions.
- Robust patient counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practice, and quality healthcare delivery.
- Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations.
