Roles and Responsibilities :

- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using CPC (Certified Professional Coder) guidelines.
- Review and verify the accuracy of diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered by healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and ICD-10-CM/PCS (International Classification of Diseases).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies.

Job Requirements :

- 1-8 years of experience in clinical coding or related field.
- Certification in one or more of the following: CPC (Certified Professional Coder), COC (Certified Outpatient Coder), CCS (Certified Clinical Coder), or CRC (Certified Radiology Coder).
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
