Digital Marketing Executive SEO Specialization

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with strong core SEO skills to grow organic visibility, traffic and

qualified leads. While SEO will be the primary focus, the role also contributes across the wider digital marketing

mix, including content, social media, paid campaigns, email marketing and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (Primary approx. 70%)

- Keyword & competitor research: Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and search-intent

mapping to build and maintain the SEO roadmap.

- On-page SEO: Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, images and schema

markup.

- Technical SEO: Run regular site audits and resolve issues relating to crawlability, indexation, site speed,

Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and robots.txt.

- Off-page SEO: Plan and execute ethical link-building through guest posts, digital PR, outreach and

partnerships; monitor and manage the backlink profile.

- SEO content: Brief writers, optimize blogs and landing pages, and refresh existing content to improve

rankings.

- Local SEO: Manage Google Business Profile and local citations where relevant.
- Emerging search: Optimize content for featured snippets and AI-driven search experiences (AI Overviews,

answer engines).

- Reporting: Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions and visibility; prepare weekly and monthly





performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Other Digital Marketing (Supporting – approx. 30%)

- Support Google Ads and paid social (LinkedIn, Meta) campaigns, including setup, keyword/audience

selection and performance monitoring.

- Plan and schedule social media content and track engagement.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters and basic marketing automation.
- Coordinate website updates and landing pages in the CMS (e.g. WordPress) and recommend CRO

improvements.

- Set up and maintain tracking with GA4 and Google Tag Manager; build dashboards in Looker Studio.
- Work with design, content, sales and web teams to align campaigns with business goals.

Quality & Documentation

- Follow search engine guidelines and use only ethical, white-hat SEO practices; avoid spammy or

manipulative tactics.

- Maintain keyword trackers, audit checklists, content calendars and SEO documentation.
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends, and adapt strategy accordingly.
- Communicate priorities clearly, meet deadlines and proactively flag risks or opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a B2B,



IT services or agency environment.
- Strong command of on-page, off-page and technical SEO fundamentals and current search engine

guidelines.

- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Moz.
- Working knowledge of at least two additional digital marketing areas, such as paid media (Google Ads/paid

social), social media, content marketing, email marketing or CRO.

- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS; basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends and translate them into clear actions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred / Valuable to Have

- Google Analytics, Google Ads or HubSpot certifications.
- Experience with international or multi-location SEO.
- Exposure to AI tools for content, research and SEO workflows.
- Basic graphic/content tools knowledge (e.g. Canva).
