Accountant (GST & TDS) | Transformatrix Global Pvt Ltd

1. Roles and Responsibilities

GST

- Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B monthly, and assist with GSTR-9 annually
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register and claim only eligible ITC
- Reconcile the sales register with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
- Generate e-way bills and e-invoices for steel and iron consignments

TDS

- Deduct and deposit TDS on contractors (194C), skilled fees (194J), commission (194H) and purchase of goods (194Q)
- File quarterly TDS returns (24Q/26Q) and issue Form 16/16A.

Bank reconciliation

- Prepare daily/weekly bank reconciliation statements
- Resolve unreconciled items such as uncleared cheques, bank charges and direct credits
- Follow up on customer receipts and vendor payments

Accounting entries

- Pass purchase, sales, journal,



payment, receipt and contra entries in Tally Prime
- Maintain party ledgers, stock records and expense bookings
- Support month-end and year-end closing and coordinate with auditors

2. Preferred Candidates

- 4-5 years of accounting experience in a steel and iron trading company
- B.Com / M.Com (or equivalent); MBA (Finance) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime with Tally certification
- Good understanding of GST and TDS provisions and return filing
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and communication skills
- Residing along the Western Line
- Bonus: GST certification course, CA firm experience, exposure to GST notices or assessments
