Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Section Head Electronics Purchase (Team Lead) to lead electronics procurement and supply chain operations. The role involves managing end-to-end sourcing of electronic components, developing commodity buying strategies, optimizing procurement costs, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring quality and inventory control. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, negotiation, risk management, and team management skills.

Skill / Qualifications

- B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in electronics procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of active and passive electronic components, including ICs, capacitors, transistors, diodes, resistors, and single-, double-, and multilayer PCBs.
- Expertise in end-to-end procurement, commodity buying strategies, spend analysis, and inventory control.
- Strong vendor negotiation, supplier development, and relationship management skills.
- Proven experience in team leadership, people management, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.




- Experience in an IT company or electronic product manufacturing organization is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant domain knowledge and a minimum of 2 years of experience may be considered as per the stated deviation criteria.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for electronic components.
- Conduct spend analysis and implement effective commodity- and device-based buying strategies.
- Establish robust procurement systems, processes, and controls.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
- Identify and onboard current suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure material availability.
- Drive supplier quality improvement and ensure procurement standards are met.
- Lead and manage the electronics purchasing team, ensuring effective execution and coordination.
- Identify procurement and supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Negotiate commercial terms to optimize costs and improve procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business and operational requirements.
