Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Operator - Turning Centre to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating and setting up CNC turning centres, with a positive understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC turning centre machines as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
- Load CNC programs and perform minor program edits when required.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters.
- Set tool offsets and work offsets to achieve the required dimensions.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.

Requirements





- Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC turning centre operations.
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a related trade.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of turning operations, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
- Basic understanding of G-code, CNC programs, and program adjustments.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and dimensional inspection.
