JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive Safety Supervisor with 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial or project-site safety management, including mandatory experience in substation projects. The candidate will implement HSE procedures, ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct site inspections, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Implement and monitor health, safety and environment (HSE) policies and procedures at project sites.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards and risks.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, company policies and client safety requirements.

- Monitor correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and safety awareness training for site personnel.

- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

- Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports and other required documentation.

- Investigate accidents, near misses and safety incidents, and recommend preventive measures.

- Monitor secure work practices during electrical work, work at height, lifting operations and other high-risk activities.





- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures during substation construction, installation, testing and commissioning.

- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients and contractors to maintain safety standards.

- Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire safety arrangements and emergency response procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH IGC, ADIS, or a relevant technical qualification.

- Additional certification in Industrial Safety is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of workplace safety standards, PPE requirements, PTW, JSA and risk assessment procedures.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in site safety management.

- Mandatory experience in substation projects.

- Good knowledge of substation safety practices, electrical hazards and hazard identification.

- Understanding of safety requirements for substation construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
