Job Summary

Varthana is looking for a Manager - Collections who will be managing a team of Collection executives. The candidate will be managing delinquent accounts in the hard buckets. The incumbent will be designing, implementing strategies, and resolving recovery cases across the country. The Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with lawyers and agencies for solving disputes with the customers or following up directly with delinquent customers.

Key Role Deliverables

Team Leadership and Team Development: Building a high-performing motivated team by working closely with the team members, coaching & mentoring, and leading them as an example

Customer Engagement: Engaging the customers by providing necessary information about the date of payment and regularly taking feedback about the company Working on increasing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty toward the company

Delinquency Management: Ensuring zero delinquencies for the branch by timely and effective collections Developing Communication / Legal letters / correspondence for the delinquent customers

Collection Management:



Effectively collecting the due amount from the customers by following a proper code of conduct during the collection process. Conducting detailed background checks before appointing an agency Managing the sale of the property after receiving a court order Appointing agencies at branch locations, allocating cases, and monitoring their performance

Cost Management: Tracking and controlling delinquency and managing the cost of collections of those clients who are due from post 90 days

Preferred Profile

Minimum Education Qualification: Post Graduation from a reputed institution

5+ years of experience in Mortgages / Home loans / Business loans / NBFC / Hard Bucket collections / agency management and a good understanding of sec 138 and the arbitration process

Team player and motivating their team members

Influential communication skills

Self-motivated, passionate about the domain, eager to learn recent things, and takes the initiative & challenges

Understanding the local market is mandatory
