Role & responsibilities

- Product formulation and recent product development (NPD) in oleochemicals, nutraceuticals, and personal care products.
- Research, develop, and optimize formulations for oils, specialty ingredients, creams, lotions, balms, and other related products.
- Conduct laboratory trials, experimental studies, and performance evaluations of formulations.
- Perform analytical testing and evaluate product quality, stability, and compatibility.
- Support process optimization, scale-up from laboratory to pilot and commercial production, and technology transfer.
- Prepare and maintain R&D; reports, formulation records, SOPs, technical documents, and trial reports.
- Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with QC, QA, and production teams to ensure product quality and successful commercialization.

Preferred candidate profile

- 23 years of relevant experience in R&D;,



formulation development, or product development.
- Master's degree in Oil Technology, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry, M.Pharm, or a related field.
- Practical experience in laboratory experiments, formulation development, analytical testing, and process optimization.

- Prior experience in the oleochemical, oil and refinery, nutraceutical, or personal care industry.
- Experience in developing oil-based formulations, specialty ingredients, creams, lotions, balms, or nutraceutical products.
- Knowledge of stability studies, quality evaluation, and laboratory-to-production scale-up.
- Experience with HPLC, GC, and other analytical instruments will be an added advantage.
