We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team in Hyderabad. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making across our wealth management business. You will leverage advanced SQL skills, financial services domain expertise, and solid stakeholder management capabilities to lead complex analytical initiatives, uncover actionable insights, and influence business outcomes.

As a Senior Data Analyst, youll work closely with business leaders, product teams, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders across India and the United States to understand strategic priorities, solve complex business challenges, and deliver high-impact analytical solutions. Youll take ownership of end-to-end analytical initiatives, define meaningful business metrics, develop scalable reporting solutions, and translate complex data into clear recommendations. Youll also have opportunities to mentor junior analysts, establish analytical best practices, and contribute to building a high-performing Analytics capability within our Global Capability Center.

This role is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model. You will collaborate with colleagues across India and the United States, with reasonable working-hour overlap when needed for stakeholder discussions, planning, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Advanced Data Analysis & Business Insights: Lead complex analytical initiatives using advanced SQL and structured analytical techniques to identify business trends, uncover performance drivers, investigate anomalies, and deliver actionable insights that influence business decisions.
- Financial Services & Wealth Management Analytics: Apply strong financial services domain knowledge, including wealth management, investment products, portfolio services, advisor operations, and client accounts, to analyze business performance and recommend improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership: Independently engage with business leaders, product owners, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business priorities, challenge assumptions, gather requirements, manage expectations, and translate complex business questions into analytical solutions.
- Advanced SQL & Data Investigation: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, integrate, transform, and analyze large datasets across multiple data sources while ensuring analytical accuracy, performance, and consistency.
- Reporting, KPIs & Performance Analytics: Own the development and enhancement of business reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to measure business performance, identify opportunities, and support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Complex Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Independently investigate ambiguous business problems, formulate hypotheses, perform detailed root cause analysis, evaluate potential solutions, and provide evidence-based recommendations to stakeholders.
- Data Quality & Analytical Governance: Partner with data engineering, data governance,



and business teams to ensure the reliability, accuracy, consistency, and appropriate interpretation of data used for business reporting and analysis.
- Business Communication & Data Storytelling: Synthesize complex analytical findings into clear, compelling business narratives and present insights, recommendations, and potential business impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- AI-Enabled Analytics & Automation: Responsibly leverage AI-assisted tools and analytical automation to improve SQL development, data exploration, reporting efficiency, documentation, and analytical problem-solving while maintaining appropriate quality and data protection standards.
- Analytical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical and analytical guidance to junior analysts, review analytical outputs, share domain knowledge, and promote consistent analytical methodologies and best practices across the team.
- Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate recurring analyses, standardize business metrics, and improve analytical processes while contributing to agile ceremonies and globally distributed team initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, nested queries, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, aggregations, query optimization, and advanced data investigation techniques across large and complex datasets.
- Robust understanding of the Financial Services domain, preferably wealth management, investment management, portfolio services, advisor platforms, client accounts, financial products, or related operational processes.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management expertise, including independently engaging business stakeholders, facilitating requirements discussions, managing competing priorities, influencing decisions, and building trusted business partnerships.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to independently structure ambiguous business problems, investigate root causes, evaluate hypotheses, and recommend practical, data-driven solutions.
- Proven experience translating business objectives into measurable KPIs, analytical frameworks, reporting requirements, and actionable business insights.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, including dashboard development and performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, data modeling concepts, and analytical data structures.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets, identify data inconsistencies, validate analytical assumptions, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.




- Experience analyzing financial services data, including investment portfolios, client accounts, assets under management (AUM), transactions, advisor activity, business performance, or operational metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings, present recommendations, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytical findings to business objectives, operational improvements, and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to independently manage multiple analytical initiatives, prioritize competing stakeholder requirements, and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams and working directly with US-based business stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor junior analysts, review analytical approaches, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to team capability development.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehousing platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or advanced analytical techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytical tools and techniques to improve productivity and analytical effectiveness is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, business definitions, and data lineage concepts is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, identify analytical process inefficiencies, and introduce scalable reporting and analysis practices.
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, financial services analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience using SQL for complex business analysis, data investigation, reporting, and insight generation.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing analytical initiatives, engaging business stakeholders, defining analytical requirements, and delivering actionable business recommendations.
- Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, investment management, fintech, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams, including direct collaboration with business stakeholders and leadership.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts, reviewing analytical deliverables, or contributing to analytical standards and best practices is preferred.
