Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Institutional Dealer to manage and execute institutional equity orders efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal risk management policies. The candidate will be responsible for handling institutional client trades, coordinating with fund managers and relationship teams, and providing real-time market insights.

Key Responsibilities

Trading & Execution

- Execute institutional equity orders accurately and efficiently on NSE, BSE, and other approved trading platforms.
- Manage large-volume trades while minimizing market impact.
- Monitor market movements, liquidity, and price trends to achieve optimal trade execution.
- Ensure timely order confirmation, trade allocation, and execution reporting.

Client Management

- Coordinate with Institutional Sales, Fund Managers, PMS, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, and Corporate Clients.
- Understand client trading strategies and ensure seamless execution of orders.
- Provide real-time market updates and trade-related information to institutional clients.

Risk & Compliance

- Adhere to SEBI, Exchange, and Internal Compliance policies.
- Monitor client positions, exposure limits, and margin requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of block deals, bulk deals, and negotiated transactions as per regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of client orders and trading activities.

Market Research & Analysis

- Track corporate announcements, market news, and economic developments.
- Generate actionable market insights for institutional clients.
- Monitor sectoral and stock-specific developments affecting institutional portfolios.

Operational Coordination

- Liaise with Operations, RMS, Compliance, Custodians,



and Clearing Teams for smooth trade settlement.
- Resolve trade discrepancies and settlement-related issues promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance of dealer logs and transaction records.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- NISM Certification (Equity Derivatives / Currency Derivatives / Research Analyst) preferred.
- MBA Finance or equivalent qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience as an Institutional Dealer, Equity Dealer, or Institutional Trading Executive in a Stock Broking Firm.
- Experience in handling institutional and HNI trading activities.
- Good understanding of Indian Equity Markets and Capital Market Operations.

Skills Required

- Sound knowledge of NSE, BSE, Equity, Derivatives, and Capital Market Products.
- Robust trading and execution skills.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Omnesys, ODIN, NEST, or similar trading platforms.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic market environment.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
