Role & responsibilities

- Review pre-foreclosure title reports, commitments, vesting deeds, legal descriptions, and prior mortgages.
- Identify and resolve complex title defects, including liens, judgments, and tax encumbrances.
- Perform end-to-end title examination, index management, abstracting, and survey analysis.
- File and track title insurance claims and post-foreclosure mortgage recovery claims.
- Review and quality-check title grade sheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure strict compliance with state-specific foreclosure regulations and investor guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

- 14 years of hands-on experience in Title Examination, Curative Operations, Index Management, Default Operations, or Foreclosure.
- Strong working knowledge of foreclosure processes, title commitments, and real estate documentation.
- High attention to detail and sharp analytical skills.
- Proficiency with mortgage and title-related software/platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace both independently and in team settings.
