Position: Site Accountant

Experience: 34 Years

Industry: Real Estate / Residential & Commercial Development

Location: Project Site

Reporting To: Project Head / Finance Head

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete site accounting and finance activities.
- Record daily purchases, expenses, bills, receipts and payments.
- Verify vendor and contractor bills with PO/WO and approvals.
- Maintain contractor bills, advances, retention and recoveries.
- Coordinate with project team for bill certification and measurements.
- Handle site petty cash and expense claims.
- Prepare vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Track project expenses and prepare MIS.
- Maintain records of material purchases and subcontractor bills.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory deductions.
- Prepare GST/TDS workings and support statutory compliance.
- Maintain project cost records and expense allocation-Inventory management.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and corporate finance.
- Support monthly closing, provisions and reconciliations.




- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Handle other finance and accounting activities as required.

SAP / ERP

- SAP/ERP knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Experience in project-wise and vendor accounting preferred.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in real estate, construction or infrastructure preferred.
- Site/project accounting experience preferred.

Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good Excel skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience with contractors and vendors preferred
